Okay, I technically phased out of having “two under two” three weeks ago, on my toddler’s second birthday. But “Two, Two and Under: Easter Baskets” didn’t sound as catchy to me, so I decided to lie. Also, although my toddler just turned two, he still puts more things in his mouth than my nine month old, so like no choking hazards here and I would give all of these items to any kiddos under two as well (just trying to justify lying in my title, please don’t hate me).
SO. I found the most perfect easter baskets from West Elm Kids. I bought the flowers one for my daughter and carrots/radishes for my son, I think they’re so stinkin’ cute. They’re on the smaller side, so doesn’t take much to fill them up, lightweight and will be easy to carry when we’re easter egg hunting. Plus they’re both on sale right now.
Toddler Basket
Here’s a breakdown of what I added to my toddler’s basket.
Bunny Pajamas. We’ve used this brand before and they withstand the test of time (my daughter uses the same sleep sacks and pajamas my son did, so lots of use between the two of them).
Glow in the Dark Stars. I had similar ones on my bedroom ceiling as a kid, I think they’re so fun! Granted my toddler still sleeps in our bed, but like one day he’ll enjoy these, I hope.
Bunny Popper Toy. We have a few Christmas ones too, my son loves them.
Llama Llama Easter Egg Book. We just started getting into Llama Llama books, they’re so cute!
Construction Site Spring Delight Book. My son loves these books, and I’m learning more about construction vehicle names than I ever thought I would.
Suction Cup Place Mat. Utensils and food end up all over the table and floor in our house, maybe this will help? Fingers crossed! So effing tired of cleaning up rice.
Carrot Markers and Stickers. We’re finally getting more into crafting and less into eating the craft supplies.
Baby Basket
Haakaa Teether. I’ve written about this before - We love it, plus it’s shaped like a little bunny.
Peter Rabbit Crinkle Book. My daughter LOVES crinkle books. We have a Very Hungry Caterpillar one on her stroller, and a dinosaur one on her carseat. I know she’ll love this one too.
Happy Easter Mouse Book. If you love If You Give a Mouse a Cookie, then I highly recommend this one too (and while we’re at it, Happy Valentine’s Day, Mouse - So cute)!
The Great Easter Race Book. Anything Sesame Street is a classic IMO.
Teether Straws. We’ve lost a few over the years, and I figured now is a great time to replenish our supply.
Blush Rabbit Pajamas. The same ones I got for our toddler, but a zipper version in the sweetest blush color.
Our kids don’t do sugar, so no candy in their baskets just yet, but I’m thinking of making these bunny pancakes for easter breakfast:
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday!
Just a heads up - I might earn a commission if you buy something through my links.
The little bunny pancakes are too cute! 🫐
